Disclaimer: I have nothing against Joe Budden. He blocked me because I told him he’s in the same tax bracket as 95% of his followers. But other than that, I have nothing against him. 

People been wanting me to comment on Joe Budden’s shenanigans for a minute, but the timing has never been on my side. 

Now, its safe to say if you are on twitter, you are aware of Joe Budden’s stature and presence on twitter.

And to tell you the truth, as much as you may like/dislike Joe Budden, there is no denying his talent as a MC. The Mood Musik series has received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike. His storytelling abilities are astounding. His beats may be boring, but there’s no denying you pay attention to what he’s saying while he’s spitting. 

And his fans? Geez

Joe Budden fans are like Raider fans. Devoted, cyncial, and a crazy as fuck if you push them too much. He’s polarizing to a degree, and until I got on twitter, I never realized that. 

BUT 

Ever since his departure from Def Jam, Joe Budden goes thru life like a disgruntled unemployed veteran. And his approach to music has never been the same since. 

But notwithstanding that, the majority of us have the same issue with Budden.

We wish he would get off the couch and look for a job and not make Unemployment Music.

Most of us don’t have a problem with Joe Budden’s music at all. We have a problem with his APPROACH to making music. 

And his APPROACH is eerliy simliar to what a voluntarily unemployed person.

When you make unemployment music, you can be on twitter all day, you can date video vixens, play slapboxing, then make a record about the slapboxing. Then laugh about it. Then simp in their DMs…

Welp

When you make unemployment music, you can find time to sit on a pregnant woman and see what happens?  Too far? OK

When you make unemployment music, you can fly to Atlanta to probably get your ass whooped. Then reschedule. Then probably reschedule again. Then lose our respect. 

Joe

These are things people with no jobs and a lot of money does. People with actual LIVES and responsibilities don’t have time to engage in these antics. You don’t need that bro. You are 50 cent, except with no money and more time to kill. 

I may be hating on him, but secretly, I’m  rooting for him to shut the fuck up on twitter and make another “Skyscraper.”

We don’t mind your music. Just your approach.
